Skilltage

Use Skilltage from Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps

Skilltage runs a remote MCP server, so an AI app you already use can work with your openings and candidates. You sign in to Skilltage and approve the app; it then works with your own permissions, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Server address

Add this address in any AI app that supports remote MCP servers with sign-in: https://mcp.skilltage.com/mcp

The first time the app connects, it opens Skilltage in your browser. Sign in, check what the app is asking for, and approve it. You do not need an API key.

Connect your AI app

  • Claude on the web or desktop: open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste the address.
  • Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http skilltage https://mcp.skilltage.com/mcp and sign in when Claude Code asks.
  • Codex: run codex mcp add skilltage --url https://mcp.skilltage.com/mcp and sign in when Codex asks, or later with codex mcp login skilltage.
  • ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other apps: add a remote MCP server with the address above wherever the app manages its MCP servers.

What the app can do

  • Read openings, candidates, CV evidence, notes, interaction history and the organisation dashboard.
  • Create and edit openings, and draft job briefs and job ads.
  • Add candidate notes and change a candidate's stage or status.
  • Draft candidate emails and send them one by one or as a batch.
  • Manage video interview requests and welcome videos.

What stays in the Skilltage app

  • Billing, plans and credit purchases.
  • Inviting and removing organisation members and changing their roles.
  • Email sending settings and organisation setup.
  • Uploading files and downloading CVs or video recordings.

Recruiters stay in control

The app works with your Skilltage account and permissions, in the organisations you belong to. It cannot see anything you could not see yourself.

Every tool is labelled as reading, adding or changing data. Tools that change or delete data or email candidates are marked so your AI app can ask you before it runs them; how it asks depends on the app and its settings.

An AI app is another way to use Skilltage, not a decision-maker. The recruiter who connected it remains responsible for the stages, statuses and emails it changes, just as in the Skilltage app, and Skilltage records each recruitment action as taken through a connected app.

Data and privacy

What a tool returns, including candidate data, goes to the AI app and its provider. Use only apps your organisation has approved for recruitment data, under its own agreement with that provider.

Skilltage does not receive your conversation with the AI app, only the requests the app makes to Skilltage. The privacy notice describes what Skilltage records about them.

Disconnect an app

In the Skilltage app, open Settings, then Connected apps, to see the apps you have approved and disconnect any of them. The app needs your approval again before it can reconnect, and access it already holds ends within an hour.

Each user can make up to 120 tool calls a minute across their connected apps.
