AI-assisted evidence for human review

Skilltage uses AI to draft role material, parse PDF CVs, structure candidate evidence, and support recruiter review. Human reviewers remain in control, with evidence, gaps, and uncertainty available before action.

AI workflows

  • Draft and refine job briefs and job ads from recruiter-provided role context.
  • Parse uploaded PDF CVs into structured candidate facts using the uploaded PDF as the source document.
  • Compare candidate evidence with recruiter-defined role requirements and surface summaries, strengths, gaps, uncertainty cues, and recommendation bands.
  • Prepare draft-only interview questions, clarification requests, template-based rejection emails, and other candidate interaction support.

What Skilltage must not be used for

  • Automatically rejecting, shortlisting, hiring, ranking for final decision, or otherwise deciding candidate outcomes.
  • Treating recommendation bands as operational decisions or final candidate ranking.
  • Setting candidate review state from AI output.
  • Sending candidate communications without recruiter preview, editing, and confirmation.
  • Using protected or proxy characteristics for scoring, ranking, rejection, shortlisting, or hiring.

Human oversight

AI outputs do not set candidate review state. Recruiters select and can change review state themselves, including new, reviewing, shortlisted, and rejected.

Candidate-facing emails remain human-reviewed and human-sent. Rejection email sending is gated by a human-selected rejected state, and Skilltage stores lightweight sent-message receipts rather than full sent email bodies.

Traceability and retention

Skilltage records AI workflow trace events for material parsing and evaluation steps using record IDs, statuses, versions, small operational facts, and hashes where appropriate. Human review-state changes are tracked separately in minimal human trace events.

AI trace events use a separate 6-month retention window. Recruitment evidence cleanup runs 6 months after recruitment-case closure unless another required process applies.

Compliance and governance

Skilltage governs AI-assisted CV sorting and candidate evaluation as a high-risk recruitment AI use case. We maintain EU AI Act documentation, validation materials, change-control records, and conformity-readiness evidence for the product.

These materials describe implemented controls. Formal conformity assessment, CE marking, EU database registration, certification, and legal approval are separate processes and are not represented by this page.
